Hi Uniques,
In the new year, we have not only new resolutions, but also old hopes sprouting up again. Could my dream come true? Who knows maybe this year is my absolute lucky year?
The desire of most young people is probably to be beautiful, rich and popular. But how could you avoid this, if you “daily” experience the incredible lifestyle of Chiara Ferrangi, Caro Daur or the Kardashians.
Every morning, you are already checking out your Instagram account when you wake up. The ones are on vacation, the others have great cooperations and you? Yes, you are lying in your bed at home with disheveled hair and unpainted.
Designer clothes here, luxury vacation there. Both is hardly to be thought away of the Instagram Fake World. Already in this article I wrote about whether one without brands could be at all a real blogger.
Welcome to the Instagram Fakeworld
The pictures are bright, square and simply wonderful. They look like a spontaneous snapshot without any editing. We all know – no one uploads an unedited image at Instagram. It is always screwed if it comes to the colors, the brightness or the contrast – the Instagram Fakeworld is simply more glossy than reality will ever be. To be honest: we all have reality right in front of our doorstep. But most of us prefer to look at glamour pictures and dream about them … 😉
But many bloggers go further: not only the editing of the pictures must be done; actually the picture content is still the most important thing. So you need a good location, good props and when you make pictures at home is also has to be a perfect setup.
More and more bloggers are assembling their apartments according to instagram criteria. Is the furniture light-colored enough? Does the floor match my account? Of course, it is incredibly handy if you can take pictures at home and avoid the cold outside in winter. Even so, you should set up your apartment the way you like it and not only consider to make it Instagram compliant. This gives your feed a recognition value and maybe you can sting out even more. Who knows, maybe your subscriber like your own style better than the typical, white and plain furniture? 😉
I would not consider all this small tricks as a real fake, rather than a little cheating. 😉
Buy yourself fame
Yes it seems the trend – everyone can now become Instagramstar!
Every day, I receive a lot of commercial e-mails, which promise to make me a star.
You are simply downloading an app, investing some money and you have 200k without ever having uploaded an image. Problem number 1 solved
So you load the first picture up and tada: As you see, you see nothing. No likes, no comments. So just download the next app and buy Likes. Problem 2 solved.
Only for the comments I still haven’t heard of any app. Wow obviously I’ve found a smooth market gap.
You see, the irony is dripping from my words. I find the money wasted and its unfair to the real followers and the blogger who work really hard for their success. I prefer to grow slower and have active subscribers who really like what I do and support me. I thank you a lot for your great support in 2016 and therefore I’m really looking forward to a wonderful 2017 together with you.

Blog vs. Instagram
So I didn’t talk that good about Instagram but don’t get it wrong: Instagram is great and I really love it. Every day I find new inspiration and new great people. Nevertheless, I also love my blog. The advantage here is that it is hard to fake something. Because with so much text you have to convince the readers also with the words you have written. Christiana von Christina Key wrote a few weeks ago that you should rather count on your own blog in the future 😉
What is your view on the subject? What are you counting on – your blog or instagram?
