All women wear Glencheck, what about you too?
Hi Unique,
it’s the trend pattern this fall: the Glencheck pattern. Thanks to Vichy and Gingham we were already small-minded in spring and summer. But now the small checked patterns have evolved.
In spring and summer, the check pattern could be mainly found in black and white, but in autumn it has clearly developed further. From now on we are no longer small-minded, but a little bit more generous. Instead of cute and playful checked patterns, the Glencheck shows its masculine business charm. Well, even the smallest check becomes big one time;)
Bye, Bye Vichy and Gingham, Hello Glencheck!
3 good reasons why the Glencheck should be part of your closet:
1. Glencheck is both mega stylish and really serious
2. check patterns can be combined super easy
3. Glencheck can be the perfect highlight as an accessory too
Glencheck vs. Prince of Wales
Glencheck here and Prince-of-Wales there – but what is the difference between the two? Or are these two names for the same thing? In fact, these are different check patterns.
Glencheck traditionally consists of a multicoloured check pattern. Due to a special weaving technique the different checks can differ from each other. The Prince of Wales check is a deviation from the Glencheck. Here, a coloured check pattern is created above the Glencheck.
While the Glencheck is more filigree and finer, the Prince of Wales check is a bit coarser and more colorful.
Glencheck – 3 styling tips
You are also absolutely in love with the new Glencheck trend? Then there are 3 ultimate styling tips that will make your look seem anything but petty.
1. The casual look
For a casual Glencheck style, you should wear a Destroyed Jeans in Boyfriend Cut. In combination with an oversize blazer with Glencheck pattern, this outfit just looks super cool!
2. The elegant look
The Glencheck is a real classic and as a trouser suit with a chic white blouse it looks super elegant. Plus a pair of classic shoes and a elegant handbag – perfect!
By the way, glasses provide a special extra 😉
3. The fancy look
You love it extravagantly? Then a pattern mix combination is just right for you. A Glencheck blazer combined with trousers with side stripes (by the way, a mega trendy part this fall!) looks especially cool
Shh! Since we are already small-minded about the topic: The year is coming to an end and that’s why there is now a free calendar for 2018 in my newsletter for download.
