time’s running! Unbelievable that it is March already. At the end of the month, I already managed the second trimester. In all this hustle and bustle I miss one thing – patience.
The life out there draws so fast, and somehow we all want to be part of this furious mass. Waiting for something? What for? Everything must be right now! Patience is for many a foreign word.
Patience, perseverance and frustration tolerance
Patience has many names, and depending on the situation, it occurs in a different form. But no matter how we call it, it’s always about waiting for something, not getting something right away, not giving up immediately.
In our fast-paced world it is no longer en vogue to be patient – whoever waits too long will miss the great opportunity. Why should I blog with perseverance, if I can easily with nothing to it get hundreds of thousands of subscribers? Why should I resist the temptation and so give away my “10 minute glory”?
I hope you realize how irony is dripping from my words. You want more irony? Then you will find a wonderful contribution to it from I need Sunshine, how you as a blogger can learn everything from Donald Trump.
I want it now! Immediately!
But in spite of all the irony there is a real core: we have forgotten to be patient. You can get almost anything you want and that in less than a second. Almost all your wishes you can meet with just one mouse click.
Should you forget to buy something – no problem, then you just order it online and let it deliver to you within the next few hours.
Because it works so easily with all the items, you automatically think that it should actually be so simple in every area. Everything and everyone must always be available. Everything has to go easily. Everything has to go fast.
Why work hard to lose weight when you can just put yourself on a power plate?
Why cook long and effortlessly when you can order the most delicious dishes?
If everything is so simple, why should you still learn patience at all?
# Patience makes successful
As the well-known surprise egg advertising shows, patient people are more successful because they get two eggs. But this does not only apply to advertising. Studies show that patient persons are more successful in their jobs.
# Patience makes you healthy
It is obvious that the fast-paced life causes stress. Stress can make you sick – so take yourself back and be patient. Researchers have found that this way you are not only more relaxed in the job, but it also leads to more stable relationships.
Patience Learning – Instant Tips
I hope you are now convinced that it is not always good to have everything right now. But it is not so easy to change. So there are now 3 quick tips
1. Avoid time pressure
Often impatience has something to do with time pressure. You are too late and you get nervous. So just plan a little more time, if necessary you have time left and can wait in peace.
2. Accept conditions
Some things just take a certain time and are not done by tomorrow.
3. Look at the consequences
At the moment of impatience, of course, this is not easy … but remember what consequences your behavior has.
Flower Power – the patience of hippies
Just two weeks ago I presented the new spring trends – wow that is already a long time ago: O
Flowing fabrics, floral patterns and the trendy color Rosa are my favorites. Trendy, we are just in the 80s but I am sure that we will arrive this summer in the 70s and 60s. The long, partially transparent dresses with floral prints show us at least the direction. On all the catwalks of the world such garments were represented, and inevitably reminded me of the hippie period. Of course to a modern form, but nevertheless casual and free.
Clothes make people? Why not? Perhaps we should take a leave out of this book and not only carry the cool, modern flowery look, but also take over a part of the attitude.
I’ve definitely made the effort to see things more relaxed, to be more patient, and not to be so frustrated when things do not go as I want.
What do you think about it?
