Imagine you are sitting in your favorite coffee house, directly at the window, at a small round table with the cup in your hand. You look outside, you see all these people rushing past you and still see nothing. Th contours blur and everything passes by you. Absorbed in thought, you sip your drink. Somehow it does not taste as good as usual.
What’s up with you?
You think about what they said. You think about what you read. And finally, yes, you think about what opinion you actually have.
You open your laptop and completely automatic your fingers begin to type. You write down everything you did not say. Everything you sorted out with yourself.
Your fingers are getting faster, almost hectic, and yet – you relax with each sentence and every little click a bit more.
And then? Then it is suddenly over. You’re done.
When you read your text again, you know what’s going on.
You’re afraid. Can you really make it? Do all your efforts really make sense? Or will it be as the others predict?
Press Day Gossip – Blog downfall?
This week it comes around again. Press Days in Munich – and during that time, there is always a lot of talk and discussion. And again and again this one topic came up: Does my blog still make sense? Has not Instagram long since taken the most important place?
And the longer I listened, and the more I heard the opinions of others, the more uncertain I became – until this very different conversation.
Instagram is totally surfeited. I can’t see it anymore.

Suddenly I thought she was right. Of course I love all the beautiful pictures and all the great inspiration. But at this very moment, I realized I do not want to give up my blog. I do not want to think blogs to be not relevant anymore. Because yes, I believe in my blog.
You now are wondering who this girl was, and I think it’s the right time to thank her: Dear Jessi, thank you for your honest opinion and the inspiration for this blog post. For it was not just this one sentence, but also your whole occurrence, which has made me write all this down here. You are a person full of self-confidence and you stand completely by your opinion. Stay as you are!
Well, I’ve really doubted about myself, my performance and my blog. But not only I, but also many other bloggers like Franziska-Elea or Masha Sedwick have doubts about it.
Despite everything, I still have doubts about myself and my performance. In my blog I could now believe again. It became clear to me: I need a large dose of self-confidence. So I searched, googled and read. My search results I would like to share with you today.
Self-confidence – How you believe in yourself again
Self-confidence is one of the most important qualities – because if you do not trust yourself and do not believe in yourself, how can all the other people out there believe in you?
With these simple tricks you can strengthen your self confidence step by step. Of course it can never hurt to strengthen your assertiveness further and further.
1. Believe in yourself
That is easy said. Write down your strengths and competencies. No matter how small the ability may be, it is special. You can organize especially well? Excellent! You love image processing? Great!
For you, all these strengths are as a matter of course. For many others, however, they present a challenge.
2. Stand up to you
Just as you are, you are good. There will always be people who do not like your hair, clothes, or your way of talking. Remain true to yourself, for there will be enough people who appreciate exactly that in you.
This is of course applies for every area. Stand up to your opinion, your appearance and your style.
3. Do not be afraid
Be courageous and take yourself a heart. More than things going wrong can’t happen. This is also easy to say, but that is exactly what I am doing. I dare something.
Right now where everyone is concerned, whether blogging is still worth the price, I give everything to achieve a breakthrough. I work on a new design, create a newsletter and try to change my image processing. I want to stick out … whether it will be successful? Well, we’ll see.
Back at the coffee house
You look at the clock and you’re amazed. The time is running and almost 30 minutes have already passed. You are reading your text again, and suddenly this fighting spirit comes to you. You’ll show it to everyone! You’re different than they think! You can do it!
You get up quickly, you pay your coffee and go to the subway with big steps. You smile and the people look at you. No, they do not look at you, they admire you. Yes, you, yourself and your self-assured radiance.
You can almost hear the applause. And a person claps particularly loud. It is your inner critic, he claps applause, for defeating him is not always easy.
Believe in you and others will believe in you 😉
I hope you liked this motivation contribution. You are welcome to share this post or the pictures with your friends.
