Luxurious living, little money - how we saved 26% on our Milan Design Hotel Viu Milan with the Expedia Add-On-Advantage<\/a><\/p>\n

Hi Unique,<\/p>\n

exactly one week ago Tanja and I were still sitting relaxed with breakfast in our chic hotel in Milan. We still had our last day full of adventures and photos ahead of us. Now our Girls Trip<\/a> is over and like all nice things it happened way too fast. <\/span><\/p>\n

Back in cold Germany I like to think back and of course I want to take you on my little thought trip \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

So let's go back to the beginning ...<\/h2>\n

I already told you how Tanja and I started looking for the perfect hotel<\/a> and thanks to the Expedia Add-On-Advantage<\/a> we not only found what we were looking for, but also saved 26% on bookings. Yes, this girlstrip couldn't have started better.<\/p>\n

Our arrival at Hotel Viu Milan<\/h2>\n

Full of anticipation we meet on Friday morning at the airport and start our short trip to Milan. After a bumpy flight we take a train and the tram to the hotel. By the way, the connection is really good. Next to a tram station directly in front of the hotel there is also a metro station - only 5 minutes away.<\/p>\n

Even from the outside the building of the Viu Milan is absolutely impressive, because the high walls are completely greened. But the real amazement only begins when you enter the hotel. As the glass doors open, cool, fragrant air comes towards us. We are greeted friendly and can't get out of astonishment at all. Wow! But the chic hotel lobby isn't everything. Despite our early arrival at 10.00 o'clock in the morning our room is already free. So we got an early check-in without having booked it. But it's not the room we booked, it's an upgrade to a Junior Suite! And again, just wow! We were so happy and when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were also offered a free late-check out so that we could use the room as long as possible.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the Expedia Add-On-Advantage has brought this hotel to our attention!<\/p>\n

The room at the Milan Design Hotel<\/h2>\n

Already on the way to our room the excitement rises. What do you think our suite will look like? I can tell you: when we opened the door, everything we had imagined before was surpassed a bit! A huge bathroom, a living room, a soft bed with great views and a walk-in wardrobe to top it all off. Okay, how amazing is that?!?!?! Completely there and away we check our booking once again in disbelief. We have actually booked this chic design hotel at a bargain price with the Expedia Add-On-Advantage. You can't imagine how excited we are! As soon as we realized that this room will really be ours for the next days, we already have 1000 photo ideas<\/a>. Despite all the joy we slowly notice the hunger, and so we decide to go for breakfast.<\/p>\n

The exclusive breakfast in Milan<\/h2>\n

When we take a look at the clock, it is already 11.00 o'clock and we are already a little panicked that we have missed breakfast. But also at breakfast the amazement continues. The Viu Milan breakfast goes extra long from 6.00 am to 12.00 pm - perfect to eat after a shooting<\/a> . Not only the times are great, but also the view. Breakfast with a View is probably the best description for breakfast on the roof of the hotel. In addition to the fantastic view over Milan, there is everything your heart desires: tasty cold cuts and cheese, cereals, pastries and fresh juices are set up at a buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. Since this is not enough, there is also a menu with various egg dishes, pancakes, waffles and hot drinks. Good thing Tanja and I love food above all \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

I can tell you, with all the choices, we didn't know what to try first. In the end we really tried almost everything in the 3 days \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

By the way, we only booked breakfast and otherwise explored the most unusual cafes and restaurants in Milan. Because we saved so much when booking with the Expedia Add-On-Advantage, we now had the rest of our budgets set aside for it - well, for it and for a little shopping \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

The SPA and Pool Area<\/h2>\n

Strengthened by breakfast, we immediately set off to explore Milan. First we walked around the hotel area and discovered a great location by chance: The Cimitero Monumentale. Thanks to the excellent connection we were afterwards also really fast in the Milan city centre. We really saw a lot and as you can imagine, we walked a lot. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

After a long day full of great impressions, we relaxed before dinner in the small but nice SPA area of our hotel. With a sauna, a steam bath and the special emotional showers, it is another highlight of the hotel. Unfortunately, we could only use the pool on the roof of the hotel on the last day, as it was simply too cold before. But even if you don't go into the water, you have a great view over the city.<\/p>\n

Milan - See you soon<\/h2>\n

As is the case with the beautiful things, this holiday was over far too quickly. But I think there are two things we can say: <\/span><\/p>\n

1. Milan, I'll definitely see you again!<\/p>\n

2. No more travel without the Expedia Add-On-Advantage<\/a><\/p>\n

Even if the journey of thoughts ends here, this journey will probably remain in my memory for a long time to come.
