Hi Uniques ,
Finally I manage to write a review of the Glowcon Hannover. Beauty products, all in pink and Youtube- Stars – doesn’t it sound just great? How the Glow really was, what I liked a lot and what I liked less, can you read here today.
“You have to glow before you shine”
Since it was my first Glow, I did not know at all what to expect. When we arrived at the fairgrounds Hannover it was almost a shock – a queue that I have last seen in this length before the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I can estimate badly so I do not know how long the line was exactly, but as it sometimes even went in a zigzag, my guess is that is definitely at least 1-2 kilometers. Fortunately we were able to use the Glow Pro entrance, which means we didn’t have to wait. *_*
Now I could not wait to see the inside of the hall.
The first impression.
When we arrived in the hall, the focus was on one thing – pink. I, as an absolute Pink lover, felt as snug as a bug in a rug. We felt like in a girly dream world in pink full of beauty products, delicious food, Youtube stars and stage acts.
Now it was time to explore.
Already at the beginning we were greeted with little giveaway bags of Flaconi. In addition to major brands such as bhCosmetics, NYX, DM and Lavera, many smaller brands were represented . There was also a red carpet for the stars of the day, as example, Sami Slimani and the birthday girl Steffi Giesinger. Again best wishes to Steffi!
In addition to Beauty Brands, there was also a show stage on which alternately Youtube Stars as Sami Slimani or Dagi Bee, and show acts performed. So overall a super varied program.
If I were 12 years again – I would have lost it completely. : D Some of the younger girls were crying when they saw Sami Slimani. Of course the Glowcon was awesome for me too.
Although the entrance queue was the longest, it was not the only one. Whether it is to rotate a wheel of fortune or just to buy something – you always had to wait.
For Glow Pros there was another special highlight: The GlowPro Lounge. Here you could chat and drink or eat something.
All in all, the Glow was super interesting, but also very busy. Would I go again? Maybe. Perhaps if the Glow will be closer to Munich or even in Munich itself. As an average consumer, the Glow is worth just when one is either an absolute makeup junkie or a big fan of some Youtube Stars in my opinion.
