Hi Uniques,
It is the trend this autumn and winter. No matter where you shop, there is always something in Oversize.
If you want to be absolutely trendy this fall, wear something wide and big will. But how exactly do you combine this trend without looking like a potato sack? Where does the trend come from and what do men actually say to it?
Oversize Style Coach
To make your Oversize look cool and casual, there are some rules to consider – after all, we want to create an everyday look.
1) Start small
You might think Oversize is the simplest and best trend of the year, but beware! Even those who wear this trend need some courage. If the whole thing seems too wishy-washy for you, begin with smaller sizes or XXL accessories.
3) The right size
You should definitely grab extra Oversize cuts. If you buy just 1-2 numbers larger, the whole thing can look very bulky. Pants on the buttocks and blazers with much too long sleeves? An absolute no-go. From time to time there are some parts that still look cool.
Here: Just try it on
2) Combine it properly
Oversize make you appear not only more compact but also smaller. Small women, therefore, should wear shoes with high heels. In addition, the tight-wide rule applies. Who wears up Oversize top should grab to tight jeans. Thus, the It-Piece is in the foreground.
Note: Only very self-confident fashion professionals should dare to take an Oversize all overlook;)
A trend with history.
Well, this trend was not just invented now – no Oversize was the first time in the 1920s. Tight Corsets Ade – Hi wide blouses and dresses. The cuts became more and more fluid and experienced a new upswing in the hippie dresses in the 1970s. Even in the 1980s and 1990s, the trend remains up-to-date. Thanks to the HipHop culture, sweaters and pants are a must have.
And now, Oversize is experiencing a mega comeback in 2016;)
Men’s affairs
Yes, our dear men. Of course, as a woman, I can not judge badly what men think about the Oversize trend, but many polls show our favorite among the trends is high among most men on the hate list: D
“Simply bulky” is probably the most common description for the look with which the other sex probably can`t get warm. Instead of sexy curves, there is simply nothing to see this winter.
Most men can`t do anything with this trend, and we should not mind the opinion of the men;)
But quite honest ladies that’s the way it is: D I personally love to combine an Oversize Piece with an otherwise tight look. What do you say about the top trend or is it rather a flop trend for you?
Thanks to Public Images and Valentino Germany for the bag.
